Dr visit anyone??

Both girls had a Dr appt today. Luckily Jeremy came with to entertain Tessa. Both are healthy and growing fast. Tessa weighed 31.6lbs (90th percentile) and was 3ft tall (93rd percentile) and Alanna was 11.10lbs (36th percentile) and was 22.75 inches long (44th percentile). No shots for Tessa, but poor Alanna got 2. She doesn't handle shots as well as Tessa did. She cried the whole way home :-( Both girls must be worn out from their Dr appt because they fell asleep at 2:30 and are still asleep now at 5:45. Hope they both sleep tonight. Speaking of sleeping, Alanna has slept through the night for 2 weeks now!!! And been in her crib for 5 days now! It's been nice catching up on some much needed sleep.

Been awhile!

Wow, sorry for not posting for almost a whole year! We had our beautiful baby GIRL, Alanna Dawn on Sept 4th, 2012. She weighed 8lbs 1oz and 18 1/2 inches long. She was and still is pure perfection! Tessa absolutely loves her and wants to hug (or smother) her every chance she gets. Alanna has just fallen right into our routine, and just goes with the flow. She is 2 months old as of yesterday, and for a week has been sleeping through the night (12 hours). She has been a wonderful addition to our family.
Tessa had her 2nd birthday on Saturday. We had a Halloween theme and it was great. She had so much fun. I just can't believe my baby girl is 2 already. Where has time gone?!? Looking back at her newborn pictures I just want to cry,she is growing up so fast. She learns something new every day. And her vocabulary is amazing!!! She has her own opinions on things, and wants to do things on her own.
Kids are such a blessing. I love being a mom and enjoy taking care of my two princesses!!

Merry Early Christmas to us!!!

On Dec, 26th I decided to take a pregnancy test. To my surprise I got a faint positive. I was not expecting to get pregnant our 1st month of trying. I texted Jeremy saying you are going to be a daddy again, he IMMEDIATELY called me. He was so excited and asked when he could start telling people. I had told him to wait until the digital says PREGNANT. The next morning I used another one of my cheapy wondfo test and got another faint positive so I tried the digital. After what seemed like an eternity of waiting it popped up saying PREGNANT. I couldn't believe the digital picked up the pregnancy so quick. But no denying your pregnant when it says it clear as day on the test.

Jeremy's parents were coming over that day so they were the 1st people to hear the good news. We put Tessa's t-shirt on and let her tell the good news.

The next day I was flying to Milwaukee to see my family. It was so hard not to burst and just tell them. I had the whole thing planned the next morning after I get there I was going to put Tessa in her big sister shirt and just let her tell. But NOPE the minute I hugged my mom I said,"mom, I'm pregnant". She looked at me shocked (I had told her I definitely wasn't pregnant just to throw her off) and then hugged me and talked on and on about baby Walker #2.
While in Milwaukee I was hoping Tessa would be able to see snow, no such luck. They got maybe half an inch if that. Here is her checking out snow!

We got to visit with some family. I enjoyed seeing my cousin Kyle and is wife Kate. Loved their company. They are such a sweet couple. They came with us to Stonefire Pizza. LOVE that place. Tessa enjoyed it as well. If you haven't been I would definitely suggest it.
Milwaukee was a lot of fun, but it's nice being back home. Tessa and I both missed Jeremy, and I'm excited to get my pregnancy underway. Going to call to schedule my 1st Dr's appt on Monday and then go from there. I'm already showing some. I heard you show sooner with your 2nd. And my only symptom is eating EVERYTHING in sight. Ha. Food needs to stay away from me. My current craving is salsa and chips and hot chocolate (when I was pregnant with Tessa I HATED Mexican food)

We are excited to see what 2012 brings us. Hopefully happiness and good fortune. Hope y'all had a happy and healthy 2011, bring on 2012.

Nervous and sad but oh so excited

Next week Wednesday Tessa and I are going to visit my family in Milwaukee, WI. I am so nervous to fly with a one year old by myself. I know I can do it, but doesn't make the nerves go away. We are flying later in the evening in hopes that she will just sleep the whole time. I am going to miss Jeremy like crazy, and I'm sad he won't be able to make the trip to WI with us. It will be our 1st trip without him. Hopefully I will just enjoy myself and not be so sad about leaving without him. However, I am so excited to see my mom, dad, sisters, and little brother. Having it be during winter, hopefully Tessa will be able to see snow. Tessa enjoys plane rides, mostly enjoys looking out of the window.

An awesome Christmas,so far.

Jeremy's sister came in on Monday and we celebrated Christmas with her on Wednesday. It was so much fun! Tessa got lots of new books that she is loving, and constantly reading. She definately is a book worm like her daddy. She got a new lounge chair from Jeremy and I. She opened all her Christmas presents in it. This morning she sat in it with her new baby doll and watched her morning cartoons. I think that is the best thing we purchased for her so far, gift wise. Jeremy got a Keurig from Tessa and I that everyone enjoyed. And Jeremy got me a necklace with Tessa's birthstone, name, and birthdate on it, I LOVE it! It was so nice to celebrate with family. My mother-in-law made a wonderful turkey lunch too. Everyone enjoyed stuffing themselves. I love Christmas, and can't wait to celebrate Christmas with my family in a couple weeks.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was so much fun. We got to spend time with family and also got to meet some family members we haven't seen yet. It was a great time. The weather was in the 70's, so we spent most of our time outside. Tessa got to do some goat herding! We enjoyed food, family, and football. I can't wait to do it all over again next year!

Happy

Tessa is feeling much better lately. The spots are nearly gone now except a few on her neck that still itch her. She is back to her happy little self, running around and keeping Jeremy and I busy.
Also my mom wanted to pay for Jeremy,Tessa, and I to fly up to Milwaukee for Christmas. Unfortunately Jeremy has to work almost every day that last week in December. So I decided Tessa and I will make the trip up there. I'm nervous to fly by myself with Tessa, but she is at the age where it shouldn't be too hard. We don't have to bring the stroller or car seat. So that's a plus. I'm excited and nervous at the same time. Tessa enjoys airplane rides, she has been on 4 already. Jeremy and I have decided a DVD player may help with that. I will let y'all know how that goes for us!
Yesterday we went to Houston to pick up Jeremy's sister. Tessa enjoyed playing in the airport while we waited. Then we headed over to the Galleria to eat at the Rainforest Cafe. We had a great time, and Tessa enjoyed seeing her Auntie Mindy.

Tomorrow Tessa and I get to meet Jeremy's cousin, her husband, and their kid, plus we get to stuff ourselves with turkey. YAY!!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!
That's it for now.
Come back soon y'all
